Unveiling the Secrets of the Gorilla Kingdom: Discover the Diversity of Different Gorilla Breeds

Gorillas are large, ground-dwelling apes native to the forests of central and western Africa. They are the largest living primates and are divided into two species: the eastern gorilla (Gorilla beringei) and the western gorilla (Gorilla gorilla). There are two subspecies of eastern gorillas: the mountain gorilla (Gorilla beringei beringei) and the eastern lowland gorilla (Gorilla beringei graueri). There are four subspecies of western gorillas: the western lowland gorilla (Gorilla gorilla gorilla), the Cross River gorilla (Gorilla gorilla diehli), the Bwindi gorilla (Gorilla gorilla bwindi), and the Niger River gorilla (Gorilla gorilla uellensis).

Gorillas are critically endangered due to habitat loss, poaching, and disease. Conservation efforts are underway to protect gorillas and their habitats.
